New York State sales tax regulations
As per recent changes to New York State sales tax regulations, most black-car services will
be subject to sales tax starting June 1, 2009. Service that begins and ends in New York State
is taxable (intrastate service).

There are certain exceptions:

Service that either picks up or drops off out of NYS
Round trips out of state where the car waits and returns(billed as 1 trip)
Services purchased by tax-exempt organizations

GPS enabled terminals are available in Elite cars
Elite is installing brand new state of the art terminals in Elite's entire fleet. These terminals are equipped with a GPS system, which would pinpoint car's location at any given time eliminating no-show and waiting time disputes.
These systems have built-in detailed navigation system and provide turn-by-turn directions to the drivers for easier out-of-town pickups and drop-offs.

Voucher images are now available on-line for individual users. You can view your ride vouchers on-line as soon as they are scaned. After logging in, you can access voucher images and other reservation information by clicking on 'Change/Cancel reservation' from the menu.   Please click here to view vouchers.

NYS 2% Surcharge
