Sometimes cancellations are not free

Cancellations Explained

  • If we have a call back phone number:

We will hold the car for 25 minutes and then call the passenger. If contact is made, we will follow passenger instructions and account policy. If no contact is made, we will hold the car for an additional 5 minutes and then give a no show to the driver.

  • If we do not possess a telephone number:

We will hold the car 25 minutes from time of dispatch.

  • To authorize the car waiting longer than 25 minutes:

Guaranteed wait may be arranged at any time by calling Elite or on your App.

  • Sports Arena:

Vehicles are retained for 30 minutes post-event at a stadium or arena.

  • Multiple Cars dispatch policy involving SUV:
  • 1)
     When a customer requests 2 sedans and receives 1 sedan and 1 SUV, with all passengers deciding to travel in one SUV, the sedan incurs a cancellation fee, and the SUV is billed at its regular rate.
  • 2)
     When a passenger requests a standard vehicle but exceeds 4 passengers, the fare will be adjusted to SUV rates.

Cancellation Charges for
Out of Tri-state area Reservations:

Outside the NY Tristate area, affiliates set cancellation policies. Major hubs follow a 6-hour rule; smaller locations may need 24-hour notice to avoid full fare cancellations.

Cancellation Charges for
Specialty Vehicles: 

In the New York Tri State region, reservations for Luxury Sedans must be canceled with a minimum of 6 hours' notice, while bookings for specialized vehicles such as stretch limousines, vans, and buses need to be canceled at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled reservation time to prevent incurring a cancellation fee.
