Tolls and Parking

Tolls necessary in the successful completion of the trip are additional as are any parking charges.

On trips to or from destinations where the driver has no direct alternate toll free route to return all round-trip tolls are billable. By industry definition “an alternate toll-free route” should not add time nor distance when compared to the normal toll route.
Addition of return tolls is standard for all trips to or from Far Rockaway, Staten Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and any locations requiring transverse of a Port Authority of NY & NJ Bridge or tunnel.
Parking charges are normally incurred on:

i)
Inside Meet & Greet at airports; and
ii)
On package pickup or deliveries when required.

Service Charge:

On every ride, Elite applies a $10 service fee.

Package Surcharge: $25
This service primarily focuses on document delivery. We do not accept valuable items and bear no financial or legal responsibility for any damage to or loss of your package.

Reservation Charge — NEVER

Elite accepts reservations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no additional charge for a reservation

Out of Town Pickup Charge — None

No additional charge even when the pickup is out-of-town.

Out of Town Pricing

We use proprietary software based on actual location to fairly price trips originating both outside the five boroughs then returning to NYC, when the trip originates and ends out-of-town with or without multiple out-of-town stops.

Fuel Surcharge

There is no fuel surcharge unless the weekly U.S. Retail Prices (Regular grade) as posted on the Internet at: http://www.eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/ is $3.00 or more.

If the Average Unleaded Gas Cost is:	Fuel Surcharge
$2.99 or lower	$0.00 per ride
$3.00 to $5.00	2.5 % of the fare per ride

If the Average Unleaded Gas Cost is:	Fuel Surcharge
$5.00 to $6.99	5% of the fare per ride
$7.00 to $7.99	7.5 % of the fare per ride

Child Seats

All 50 states and the District of Columbia require child safety seats for infants and children fitting specific criteria.
As of January 2015, in New York failure to comply results in mandatory fine and points against the vehicle operator’s license.
Two options are available:

These are housed at the Elite office to where the driver is pre-dispatched to equip the vehicle as requested. There is a charge of $50 for the first seat & $25 for each additional seat as a special handling charge.
